To Use with Color Services:
Color Services and the BKT Botanical Keratin Treatment can be applied in the SAME VISIT! To do so, you must apply the color first.
Begin by pre-cleaning the hair multiple times, dry 50-100%, then apply the color and process.
Rinse thoroughly without shampooing or conditioning.
Dry 100% and continue with the BKT Botanical Keratin Treatment
(Note: If the hair has already been treated with keratin, you must wait 7-10 days to proceed with a color service.)
To Use with Thio Relaxers:
If used with thio relaxers: Pre-clean multiple times, dry 50-100%, then apply thio and relax accordingly.
Rinse thoroughly without shampooing or conditioning.
Dry 100% and continue with the bKT Botanical Keratin Treatment.
(Note: No neutralization. The Keratin becomes the neutralizer at a 4.0 ph)
To Use with Sodium Hydroxide Relaxers:
If used with sodium hydroxide relaxers or thermal straighteners: do this service on opposite months.
Always relax one month with an overlay the next time.
One reason for this is that the flat ironing step of the BKT Botanical Keratin Treatment would be too much to do in the same salon visit.
The other reason is, you are beginning with a salt based relaxer which interferes with the treatment.
