Color Lock Treatment is an excellent service to provide with or without a professional hair color service.

Simply Smooth color lock treatment is designed to replenish keratin lost during a chemical hair color application, whether or not the hair has been treated with a Simply Smooth Keratin Treatment.

Simply Smooth Color Lock Treatment is a blend of the highest quality of keratin and green apple pulp collagen.

The client will have CONTROL over their texture, SHINE, faster styling time, REPAIR damage, and most of all; it will LAST between 30-45 days.

Directions for use WITH a hair color service:

Step 1: Begin with a Simply Smooth pre-clean purifying shampoo before the hair color application.

Step 2: ONLY use Simply Smooth pre-clean purifying shampoo as it is designed to specifically work with Simply Smooth treatments.

Step 3: On damp, towel dried hair, apply and process the hair color formula.

Step 4: When processing is complete, RINSE hair color out.

DO NOT shampoo or condition.

Step 5: Towel dry hair, spray Simply Smooth color lock treatment into the hair and comb blend. Proceed with finishing all services with the client.

Step 6: Blow dry 100%.

Step 7: Choose the proper iron at approximately 400 degrees. “The Cure” tools are recommended as they are designed to properly “cure” Simply Smooth treatments into the hair.

Step 8: Cure Simply Smooth color lock treatment as if you are styling. No extra time is necessary for scheduling.

If hair color has been applied without pre-cleaning, shampoo hair color out using one of the Simply Smooth Xtend Keratin Replenishing maintenance shampoos.

Do NOT condition. Proceed as stated above.

NOTE: Do NOT use pre-clean purifying shampoo after the hair color service as it will remove the color.

Do NOT use pre-clean purifying shampoo before the hair color service if client has a Simply Smooth keratin treatment already, as it will help remove it.

Directions for use WITHOUT a hair color service:

Step 1: Begin with shampooing 3-5 times using Simply Smooth Pre-clean Purifying Shampoo. Do NOT condition.

Step 2: Remove 50 % of the moisture (water) from the hair. Spray Simply Smooth Color Lock Treatment into the hair and comb blend.

Step 3: Dry 100%.

Step 4: Choose the proper iron at approximately 400 degrees. “The Cure” tools are recommended as they are designed to properly “cure” Simply Smooth treatments into the hair.

Step 5: Cure color lock treatment as if you are styling.Three to five passes of the iron will cure Xtend Keratin Replenishing Color Lock into the hair.

Always look for the three S’s- SHINE, STATIC, and SLIP when doing this service to know when the hair is “cured”.
